We recently created two new hash-tags called #Tuesday20s and #Thursday30s. We would like to explain just what #Tuesday20s and #Thursday30s are, and how you can use them in your personal life & your classroom to promote exercise.
#Tuesday20s and #Thursday30s are short workouts that include 2 to 5 exercises. The expectation is to complete each exercise 20 times on Tuesday and 30 times on Thursday to finish the challenge. For all of you overachievers out there, we encourage you to do as many rounds as your heart desires. You could even take the workout a step further and see how long it takes to complete each round. As we are sure you have guessed, #Tuesday20s are the same workout that will be posted on Thursday except you only have to complete 20 repetitions of each exercise. These workouts are great dynamic warm-ups to start off your day or your class.
The exercises that we are including in #Tuesday20s & #Thursday30s are picked based on the difficulty and amount of space it takes to complete them. We created each workout so they can be done in a small space. They are body-weight only exercises, so you won’t need any equipment to complete them.
#Tuesday20s and #Thursday30s workouts will be posted at 7:00 am EST & 7:00 am PST every Tuesday and Thursday morning on our Twitter account. They will also be posted on our Facebook page. We will also release a video that shows how to complete each exercise using proper form. You can complete the workout in any order you want mixing up the repetitions as well. For example, if the workout was jumping jacks and push-ups, you could do 5 push-ups and 5 jumping jacks until you completed the workout.
